„The core of most concerts will be Gustav Mahler’s „Rückert-Lieder” cycle (with German soprano Julia Kleiter singing the solo part) and Ludwig van Beethoven’s Symphony No. 7 in A major, Op. 92. Also performed will be „Gloria,” specially composed by Bohdana Frolyak, a reflection on the suffering, hope, and spiritual strength of the Ukrainian people. The Ukrainian Freedom Orchestra is led by its founder and artistic director, Canadian conductor of Ukrainian descent, Keri-Lynn Wilson”.

Mahler’s Rückert-Lieder with Julia Kleiter as soloist. I admire this singer immensely; it’s rare to hear such vocal refinement. Perhaps her voice was sometimes somewhat overshadowed by the overly massive orchestra, especially the brass, but she sounded beautiful. (Polityka)
