The staging of „Julietta” is not only an act of courage on the part of the Wrocław Opera, but also a tribute to the vision and staging imagination of Barbara Wiśniewska, who, after her recent productions, most notably „The Best City in the World,” is becoming one of Poland’s most interesting opera directors. This was her wish, and it was fulfilled in Wrocław. And indeed, the director creates a coherent, if at times overloaded, vision, but so overloaded and fleeting is a dream (Orfeo)
