The artists were greeted with a frenetic ovation, and after the official part, they performed six encores, creating a kind of second half of the concert. Pretty Yende sang, among others, „O mio babbino caro” from Puccini’s „Gianni Schicchi” and Elena’s bolero from Verdi’s „I Vespers Sicilian.” Artur Ruciński sang Miecznik’s aria from „The Haunted Manor” and one of Mieczysław Karłowicz’s most beautiful songs, „Pamiętam cinie, świetlam, złotynie.” The artists bid a brilliant farewell to the audience with a playful duet by Papageno and Papagena from Mozart’s „The Magic Flute.” (Orfeo)
