The operatic Oniricon is a journey through the subconscious – the world of dreams, unconscious desires, and revealed archetypes will become the context in which arias and ensembles from Italian operas will resound. It is also a tribute to the imagination of the great master Federico Fellini. The name Oniricon refers to the newspaper column in which the director interpreted readers’ dreams. This time, drawing on his cinematic aesthetic, we will attempt to decipher all the meanings contained in works by Rossini, Donizetti, and Bellini, performed by participants of the Opera Academy.
