Every new role is like a new love. That’s how it is! Even if I wasn’t convinced about some parts at first, everything changed once I started working on them.

How do you choose your repertoire?

The criteria are the music, which must fascinate me, and the text, which leaves room for interpretation. The challenging parts are the ones that require thinking. I like to spend time on an interpretation and delve into the literature to better understand the era. I enjoy the intellectual challenge of preparing a new role. (Orfeo)
